Let me introduce you to beautiful Christine Kjeldbjerg, the Nutritional Therapist and Personal Trainer.
We have been following each other on Instagram for a while. I love to get inspired by Christine’s tips on how to support our immune system, stay fit & healthy. I took one of Christine’s great online programs – The spring cleanse.
Finally, after a few cancel trips, I made it to the amazing South of France and I took Christine’s personal brand photos there! We had a great afternoon together capturing Christine’s different stories in her house in Côte d’Azur.
Here is my interview with Christine about her journey as an entrepreneur.
What career did you have before you set up your own business, and what made you want to start it?
I was a PA for directors in the UK and juggled this work with my Personal Training during my 20 ́s. Nutrition has always been a huge part of my life, but formal study was first embarked upon 10 years ago.
What was your main source of motivation when you started your own business?
I am a control freak and love to be independent around my hours especially when my girls were younger.
What have you done that has been very effective in helping to grow the business?
I have always been passionate about what I do and “walk the talk”.
What did you find hardest?
Not having colleagues in a group working environment to bounce ideas off is something I sometimes miss, but I have found some lovely communities of like minded individuals locally and on some SM groups which I connect with.
If you could go back and do it all again, would you do anything differently?
I ́d start my nutrition study earlier.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
I ́ve received 3 pieces of advice that work in different scenarios:
Don ́t aim for perfection, just do your very best.
You can ́t help everybody.
Feel the fear and do it anyway!
How was your experience with the personal brand photoshoot?
Wonderful! So relaxing. It felt like I was having fun with a girlfriend for a few hours.
How have your customers responded to your personal branding shoot?
I ́ve only released a few to date but the feedback is great.
Do you have any pearls of wisdom for other women who have just set up their own business or are thinking about it?
Find your supporting tribe to support you on the tougher days and celebrate you with your “achievements”.
Who would be your 5 ideal dinner party guests?
Bruno Mars – love his music so the entertainment would be FAB
The Queen – I love hearing about peoples experiences and this grand lady has certainly witnessed a few. I ́m sure she ́d love Bruno too 😉
My husband – He ́s a born entertainer and I ́d want to recall the experience with him.
James Corden – He ́s hilarious and I am sure he ́d charm Queenie
Naomi Campbell – Beautiful, strong, opinionated
